Story Behind AaramShop

AaramShop is an Indian start-up, which has pioneered the concept of hybrid commerce, making the mundane task of shopping for daily essentials and grocery brands more convenient, simple, social and cost effective. AaramShop integrates the advantages of the web with the robust existing presence of the neighborhood retailers, in order to make buying happen. The market place business model has been created to assist the entire retail eco-system.

Vijay Singh, a serial entrepreneur, founded AaramShop in 2011. Originally serving 162 local shops in New Delhi, India the company set a goal of expanding to 2000 shops by the end of that year.[2] AaramShop is a free to use platform for neighborhood based independent retailers, who get the advantage of a web-front to their physical store and also get a suite of services like access to marketing tools like AaramOffers and an assisted call interface back-end. The hybrid retailing concept leverages on the strengths of the retailers who home deliver to customers within the immediate vicinity of the store.
AaramShop helps the small neighborhood retailers grow their businesses without needing to undertake additional investments.
